My Testimony

Last month I had long workout session, sobbing between sets, feeling particularly discouraged and beat down physically and emotionally.

Relaxing on the couch that evening I was asking God how I could possibly be worshiping Him by throwing a discus. It just didn’t seem like that was worthy of being called worship. I throw in meets across the country and give glory to God and sacrifice blood sweat ant tears to be my best but how is that worship?

But God spoke to me right then and said “Don’t give me anything that doesn’t cost you everything.” It hit me that the sacrifices I make everyday are considered my offering and my worship to Him.

These sacrifices cost my everything I have in terms of energy, time and mental toughness. It is my truest and most genuine form of worship.
